The Mollywood industry seems to have suddenly found out the need to readjust the release dates according to the demand from the market.

Even though this statement does not hold true to the quality of films churned out these years, the marketing men are making it sure that films are released on certain dates through which maximum box office returns can be ensured.

As the SSLC exams are nearing completion by the 25th of this month, Aashirwaad cinemas and Max Labs, the makers of Mohanlal starrer ‘Sagar Alias Jackey’ have planned a release of the big movie the very next day, that is on March 26.

This will ensure one more day with full collections and no competitions, as the movie by Amal Neerad is the most awaited flick of the season.

Suresh Gopi’s ‘IG’ has been shifted to April 3rd to avoid clashing with IPL matches and the Lok Sabha elections.

The movie will now take on Lal productions -‘2 Harihar Nagar’, the sequel to early 90’s super hit film ‘In Harihar Nagar’.

The release dates of other two Mammootty starrers ‘Vande Matharam' and ‘Pattanathil Bhootham’ planned for this month has not yet been let out.
